Hidden World: Jennifer Angus is on exhibit at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center from April 25 to July 6, 2025, with gallery hours Thursdays through Sundays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This immersive installation by Madison-based artist Jennifer Angus transforms the gallery space into a vibrant tapestry of nature, using preserved insect specimens arranged in mesmerizing patterns. The 130th Sequim Irrigation Festival runs from May 2 to May 10, 2025, with events spread across various locations including Downtown Sequim, Carrie Blake Park, and more. As the longest-running festival in Washington State, it celebrates community spirit with two themed weekends. Crazy Callen Weekend (May 2–4) features the First Friday Art Walk, Family Fun Days, a Kids Parade, Innovative Arts & Crafts Fair, “Trashion” Show, and the lively Crazy Daze Breakfast. Spring Bunco, hosted by the Sequim Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital, takes place on Friday, May 2, 2025, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. 5th Ave. in Sequim. Join the Dungeness River Nature Center for Wildflower Walks in the Lower Dungeness on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This informative and scenic walk will teach participants how to identify native plants and observe the changes in plant communities throughout the season, from early bloomers to late bloomers and seed-setting stages. A new, easier walk option along the Dungeness River Trails in Sequim is also available as an alternative to the moderate wildflower walk.
