The Frosty Moss Relay takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, along the Olympic Discovery Trail, beginning early in the morning and continuing throughout the day. Olympic BirdFest returns Thursday, April 16 through Sunday, April 19, 2026, at various locations across Sequim, Port Angeles, and surrounding areas. Timed to coincide with both lingering winter birds and the arrival of spring migration, this four-day festival offers exceptional birdwatching opportunities. Participants may spot species such as Harlequin and Long-tailed Ducks, seabirds, winter songbirds, and returning Rufous Hummingbirds. The festival features expert-led field trips to premier birding locations including Sequim Bay, Dungeness Bay, Ediz Hook, Dungeness Spit, Port Angeles Harbor, and the Elwha River, along with excursions through forests, fields, and prairies.
