INGREDIENTS:

Pour ½ cups cups boiling water over 1 ½ cups raisins. Cool.

4 ½ cups sugar 

4 ½ cups flour

¾ tsps.baking powder 

1 ½ cups chopped walnuts 

 

3 tsps baking soda

6 eggs 

2 ¼ tsp salt

1 (29 oz) can pumpkin

1 ½ tsp ground clove

1 ½ cups oil

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all ingredients together in the largest bowl you own. Makes 3 loaves in pans 9 ¼ X 5 ¼ X 2 ¾

Bake at 350 for approximately 1 hour
