Windermere Real Estate / Sequim-East is collecting Toys for Tots through December 11th, 2020. The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to ensure that every less fortunate child knows there is hope for the future, and receives a shiny new toy this Christmas Season. To donate, bring a new, unwrapped toy to our office at 842 E Washington St, Sequim. We are open 10am-4pm Mon-Sat.

Congratulations Pumpkin Carving Winners!


Congratulations to the winners of our Pumpkin Carving Contest: Ken Burrell and Vanessa Fuller!

We hope you have a fun, safe and very Happy Halloween!

While this year’s festivities might look a bit different, as we all try to maintain our social distance, we’ve heard of a few local events that are trying to help you keep the “Treat” in Trick-or-Treat.


Halloween Activities  in Sequim and Beyond

The YMCA in Sequim is hosting a Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat event from 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 31 at 610 N 5th Ave, Sequim. Find out more on their Facebook page at

Sweet Spot Frozen Yogurt will be offering any child 10 & under in costume a free froyo and toppings of their choice on Halloween! They are located at 609 W Washington St, Ste 11, Sequim. Learn more on their Facebook page at

Sequim Habitat Store will have a special Candy Chute for social distanced Trick-or-Treating 10am-4pm Saturday! 213 E Washington St, Sequim.

The Sequim Boys & Girls Club will host a Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat, receive a free lunch and a “boo bag.” Wave to all the costumed staff and enjoy a safe Halloween experience at 400 W Fir St!

Kings Way Foursquare Church is hosting a Drive Thru Bash, 5-8 on Saturday. Play games from your cars. Learn more on their website at:

The Sequim High School ASB is going to be putting on a drive-thru Halloween Event on Saturday, October 31st from 2-3:30 pm in the main HS parking lot at 601 N Sequim Ave. Drive or walk thru socially distanced for candy, spooky music, smiles and fun! All community members are welcome, and there will be a costume contest with prizes for Sequim High School students. **Masks and social distancing are required**

Sequim Elks Lodge #2642 Will be hosting a Drive Thru Trick-or-Treat at 143 Port Williams Rd. For more information, call the lodge at (360)683-2763.

In Port Angeles, the Extreme Sports Park will be hosting a drive-thru Trick-or-Treat experience on Halloween, 2pm-5pm at 2917 W Edgewood Dr. Windermere Port Angeles brokers will be passing out candy, along with other local businesses. See their flyer on their Facebook page.

Local Events and Festivals in Sequim

One of really unique things about living on the peninsula is that there is always something going on. There is a festival or event nearly every month of the year in Sequim, Port Angeles, or Port Townsend. Outlined below are some of the recurring events and festivals that happen each year.


Monthly Events

  • Port Angeles Farmers Market Saturdays year-round 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Farm fresh produce and artisan products in downtown Port Angeles on the corner of Lincoln and Front St.
  • First Friday Art Walk in Sequim at various galleries and museums around town.

  • Friends of the Sequim Library monthly book sale (Proceeds support programs at our local library)

December 2018 Events in Sequim and Port Angeles

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The lights are up, the halls are decked, and Sequim and Port Angeles have plenty of fun and festive events coming up.

Soroptimist Gala Gift Show
December 1, 9am – 4pm at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 Fir St.
The Gift Show will have vendors, great merchandise, See’s Candies, a fantastic raffle, a HUGE BAKE SALE and Port Townsend Vineyards’ Discovery Red and White (by the bottle or glass). – ADMISSION IS FREE!


Benefit for the Port Angeles Fine Art Center: Silent Auction & Art Sale
Date: December 6, 2018 – December 8, 2018
VIP Night (Thursday, 5:30-7pm) – $25. Friday and Saturday – free to the public.
Presented for auction and sale are 40+ original artworks collected by longtime PAFAC supporter Natalie Spiegel. The eclectic collection is comprised of sculptures, cast paper, watercolor, ceramics, fine art prints, and more. It features works by well-known artists including Yaacov Agam, Frank Gallo, Fumio Kitoaka, and Christine McHorse.

The Nutcracker Cracked Up

A quirky take on the classic Nutcracker tale, reinvented with dance, dialogue and comedic disarray. An original adaptation by OTA.


Port Angeles Symphony Holiday Concert
December 8, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave.
$15 seniors/students, $18 general seating, $25-$35 for reserved premium seating. Youth 16 and under free when accompanied by an adult.
Join your Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra — and Chorus — for a night of holiday favorites and classics. The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s “Messiah,” selections from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker,” “Winter” from Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” a Hanukkah Suite and a Christmas carol sing-along are among the highlights. Maestro Jonathan Pasternack and choral director Joy Lingerfelt lead the orchestra and singers; Charlotte Marckx of Seattle is guest soloist. Come early for the pre-concert chat at 6:40 p.m.


OTA Story Slam

Holiday Mishaps is the theme for this month’s Story Slam. Story Slam emcee will choose ten tellers from the audience. Teller will be randomly chosen and will have five minutes to tell a true, personal story on the theme.


Shop til You Drop
In Downtown Port Angeles, December 19th, 4-8pm
An evening of fun and shopping as more than 30 local businesses open their doors from 4 -8 pm for those last minute Christmas gift ideas! In addition to special sales and there will also be fun activities, refreshments and more


Sequim Farmers Market Holiday Fair
Saturday, December 22, 9 AM at the GUY COLE CENTER – CARRIE BLAKE PARK
Over 30 local vendors are moving indoors for two special events! There is no better place on the peninsula to start your holidays off right! You will find expertly hand crafted items such as pottery, etched glass, one-of-a-kind wearable arts, candles and soaps, hand sewn fashions, quilts, lavender, custom pet accessories, and even spices and wines and teas….just to name a few! Blue Mountain Bakery is sponsoring a cookie decorating project for the kiddos and the Sequim Food Bank will be on hand to wrap your purchases! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting between 11-2.


Ice Skating Rink in Port Angeles
The Winter Ice Village on Front St in downtown PA will be open 9am-9pm, Mon-Sat, and 11am-9pm Sun through January 6th. $15 for adults, $10 for kids and seniors. Skates included with entry fee.
