Local Events and Festivals in Sequim

One of really unique things about living on the peninsula is that there is always something going on. There is a festival or event nearly every month of the year in Sequim, Port Angeles, or Port Townsend. Outlined below are some of the recurring events and festivals that happen each year.

 

Monthly Events

  • Port Angeles Farmers Market Saturdays year-round 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Farm fresh produce and artisan products in downtown Port Angeles on the corner of Lincoln and Front St.
  • First Friday Art Walk in Sequim at various galleries and museums around town.
  • Second Saturday Art Walk in Port Angeles
  • Friends of the Sequim Library monthly book sale (Proceeds support programs at our local library)
  • Coffee with the Mayor – The mayor will be at a different published location each month to listen to anyone who wants to chat, ask questions, express a concern, or make a comment about the city or the community.
  • Sequim Farmers Market (May-October) at the Civic Center Plaza on N. Sequim Ave. In front of City Hall.

 

January

  • New Year’s Eve party at 7 Cedars Casino
  • New Year’s Eve Gala at Lake Crescent Lodge

 

February

  • Red Wine & Chocolate Tour of Olympic Peninsula Wineries
  • North Peninsula Builders Association’s Building, Remodeling & Energy Expo at Sequim High School

 

March

  • Clallam County Home & Lifestyle Show at Port Angeles High School
  • Soroptimist Gala Garden Show in Sequim

April

  • Sequim Prairie Garden Club’s Annual Spring Garden Sale at Pioneer Memorial Park in Sequim
  • Olympic BirdFest – guided birding trips, boat tours, live auction, raffle, gala banquet, and more. Organized by the Dungeness River Audubon Center in Sequim.

  • Irrigation Festival and Logging Show in Sequim
  • Olympic Peninsula Open House Tour
  • Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts – non-stop music and arts festival Memorial Day weekend in Port Angeles

  • Music in the Park (every Tuesday evening June through August) at the James Center for the Performing Arts in Carrie Blake Park, Sequim.

 

Lavender Festival Sequim

July

  • 4th of July Parade and Fireworks in Port Angeles
  • Sequim Lavender Weekend JULY 19 – 21
  • Clallam County Amateur Golf Tournament – tours 3 courses: Sunland Golf & Country Club, Cedars at Dungeness, and Peninsula Golf Club.
  • Shakespeare in the Woods (in Webster’s Woods at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center)
  • Music in the Park (every Tuesday evening June through August) at the James Center for the Performing Arts in Carrie Blake Park, Sequim.
